In this 18 Kt gold pendant is set an authentic Roman denarius, in silver, from 42 BC, depicting the God Apollo; in the reverse side of the coin we can see Diana Lucifera, with two torches, bow and coffin on her shoulder.
Apollo was considered the standard of male beauty ! Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is Artemis. He was the God of the arts, music, healing, purification, prophecy, oracles, plague, poetry, civilization, the sun, truth, intelligence, logic, reason, and archery, he also showed men the art of medicine.
He is famous for his oracle at Delphi. People traveled to it from all over the Greek world to divine the future.

Diana Lucifera is an Italic and Latin deity, according to many the etymology of her name is to be traced back to dies (day) and is therefore the goddess of daylight, with all its direct benefits on nature. In Lazio there is her temple where she was venerated on the shores of the suggestive lake of Nemi which took the name of Speculum Dianae.
Protector of everything in Nature and of every living thing in it, therefore protector of plants and animals, her sacred animals are the dog and the doe; she is represented with a bow or a torch and for her predisposition to give light to the new born she is known with the name of Diana Lucifera that is “Bearer of light”.

All of our jewels are certified by certificate of authenticity attesting their Greek or Roman origin !
